So based on my words and belief of the above:

I Wonder Why.. Large Ears Only Listen.. To, Worthless Gossip!

I really dislike negative people who by choice, achieve nothing in their lives, bar a belief that they deserve better!  We each have the ability to program our minds, or personal computer with the choice to approach life from either a negative or a positive perspective.  Think about that, the next time you complain, or make an excuse, or lie to others and yourself! Consider that when you try or feel the need to communicate with, or compliment another person! This is a Positive Place! As such. please enjoy the positive messages within the words that I write.

As a young child, most nghts I looked into the distance at the lights beyond the horizon and I wondered: What are they?  I wrote my name on many pieces of paper with a pencil and gave each a home inside a glass bottle, sealed with a cork and candle wax.  Each week I stood on a 200ft cliff in bare feet and threw one of my messages of hope into the sea far below.  Each of my bottles commenced their respective journeys on rough seas, borne by swift currents, carrying the innocent, friendly hopes of a child reaching out, to an unknown world.  Each bobbed up and down towards an infinite horizon, to hopefully reach those lights which nightly shone, giving up their place in the world, via clues found in the far away glowing clouds.  With each brown bottle mariner sent, I remember wondering: What if?  Today I believe that too few ask that question in their day to day living!

My life has been unique, my childhood was unique, my home was unique and my understanding of nature, the sea, life and death were unique.  I had only known wild, beautiful, isolated places and as such, my understanding of other people was honed to be and remain; unique.  I don’t know if any of my bottle mariners were lost to those lights, or ever reached shore again. I would like to think that eventually they may find home, or have their treasure found by another, who would question the unique quirks of life and ask: Why?

Today, I still write my messages of hope and send them into unknown worlds.  I am told that they are profoundly unique, but I do not understand what that means, because they only serve the same purpose as those borne in bobbing brown glass bottles, each bravely merging into that place, where the lights, the oceans and the skies become one. 

In my unique sub consciousness, perhaps I still stand alone on my island and reach out, to unknown worlds, in the same innocent hope that my place in this world is more than merely unique!  I am driven, perhaps by ocean tides to find my place beyond one’s ability to rise above the loss of loved ones, beyond knowing what it is to be an honest, direct man, beyond the comprehension of fools; guided by wisdom and observations made, of those currents that reach out to that place where all horizons meet and people know instinctively, how to understand others, uniquely.  I hope you enjoy my work…. 

Oh by the way: All the work that you will find on this site was written slowly, considerately and accurately (context-wise)  - Most is written specifically to be thought provoking - If you have chosen to read any of my poetry, then please do so in the same manner that the poems were written in and you will genuinely enjoy them more in that desired context!

The power of the Net... If I consider that there are only a total of 193 Countries in this World.... Perhaps I was right to cast those bottles into the sea so many years ago, as it seems that my messages of hope really have reached readers from distant shores!
