All the Elements of You
That I would love her soul, by virtue of an outstretched heart
What lies within each of us?
The Science of Love.
‘All the Elements of You,’ by Pearldiver, is about love and the magical range of emotions that we feel when we first realize that we are in love. In one way or another, at certain times in our lives, love takes control of the majority of us and as a result of that event we will tend to change our life perspectives and to willingly submit to that new journey.
Love takes many forms and because of that Pearldiver has chosen to represent that aspect of love by using an analogy of seeking its most precious state, through the magical process of alchemy. One of the objectives of the ancient practice of alchemy was to turn everyday objects or substances into gold, or the elixir of life. Alchemy later developed into the science of Chemistry. Falling in love creates an intense, dreamy desire to genuinely connect and we also refer to that state as being, the chemistry between the lovers.
Each of the four elements of; Earth, Fire, Air and Water are said to influence our individual nature and personality, but love at its most powerful, rises above those influences and takes us even deeper into the chemistry that is developed between the lovers. ‘All the Elements of You’ explores the ‘science’ of love and its vulnerability, when magic and uncertainty exist beyond clear perceptions. Love's alchemy - turning colorful moments into golden memories.
What Makes This Precious Ore?
Beyond my ability to believe.
All the Elements of You
She moves silently, gliding over slate floors
As if to force my imagination to believe
That I, assayer of dreams, will surely love
Her soul, by virtue of an outstretched heart
And as if, in trails of golden dust and flakes
I will measure each step closer, by its purity and weight
Its energy, a shallow breath, our pulses race so much
And here now forged in gold, comes our very first touch
So rarely could one find, such pleasure in desire
Her presence cast far, beyond any average reach
Beyond subconscious drumming beats, in golden steps
She came to me, gracefully, beyond my ability to believe
That I had been so loved before, beyond this scene
Here we lay, in etherized purity, framed in tangled waves
Waves of yearning wetness, lovers don’t forget
Where softly mixed bodies, are so deeply sketched
In charcoal strokes, or magically, in earthen silhouettes
Surely these golden rays, as with those that were before
Aren’t merely fiery, sunlit rays, but rather, truly precious ore!
Formed in love’s subtle alchemy, between reality and dreams
Heightened senses, reaching out, beyond our souls, it seems
Like nothing in our dream world
Could ever feel so warm, so true
But then, nothing in a real world
Could ever match, all the elements; Of You...
